ReactOS is a FOSS operating system that attempts to replicate Windows applications/drivers in a FOSS environment, albeit to a poor degree. It is known to have sour relationships with USBs. One is most likely better off using some other Linux distribution with Wine installed.
While the developers of the OS have good(?) intentions, the project has been going through a slow update cycle. It is highly recommended that one uses a virtual machine software to run this software, as there is minimal hardware support at the time of writing this.
