Oh please, why so serious? This article should either be the huge quote, talking about the kernel itself, or preferably a combination starting with the quote. --Biohazard (talk) 13:15, 28 January 2014 (EST)

Just having a quote from Stallman does not an article make. I agree with talking about the kernel itself but I doubt we're that far along in fleshing out what this wiki should be. I doubt it will ever be a technical manual. --Gutsman (talk) 13:20, 28 January 2014 (EST)

Actually I just thought of it as a small redirector page, but talking about the kernel on that page makes sense. Maybe we should get rid of the quote and just add "This page is about the kernel itself, see GNU/Linux for information about Linux-based distributions." --Nomorepancakes (talk) 13:25, 28 January 2014 (EST)
